While working with both commercial and residential clients, J. C. Chancellor believes in having a plan. Understanding the client's current and future needs and planning accordingly is essential to good design. He has almost 40 years of experience in the furniture and interior design industry. As a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID,) the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the Texas Association of Interior Designers (TAID,) he understands the importance of professionalism in design.

As a native of the Midland/Odessa area, J.C. Chancellor has been an active member of both communities. He was founder and board member of the Presidential Museum in Odessa, member of the board of directors of the Midland-Odessa Symphony and was on the Bush House Restoration committee. He holds awards for excellence in office design, Geyers National Award for Advertising and Promotion and Geyers National Award for Design Installation.
